What comes back is whatever the knowledge base is set to under Settings → Starter Questions:

An empty array is a valid answer, not an error — render nothing.

A dashboard-authenticated mirror exists at GET /api/v1/knowledge-bases/:id/suggested-questions.

Recommend documents related to a query or the current page — ideal for “Read next” sections and search-result footers.
